Green is one of the reasons I come home to Malabuyoc every weekend—besides spending time with my family and helping them with household chores. Where else on earth can you find more greeneries than in the countryside, right? But much as I’d love to, I can’t afford to be dressed to the nines like this in front of the townsfolk, let alone some kinfolk or a killjoy who might give me a good dressing down amid a photoshoot in the “green, green grass of home.” Thank goodness, my friends Tina Labita Puso and Erland Taghoy Puso’s gorgeous home on Tisa Hills, Cebu City was built in front of all this lovely greenery that I couldn’t help dragging their nephew Wilnar Taghoy to the view so as to take these photos of me. I was so happy to see these green grasses growing in the city, despite the curious stares of the passersby as well as the eager stops of the “habal-habal” drivers.
