Congratulations, Jarel Korber, on a stellar performance at today’s grand finals of Pinoy Halo-Halo on Abs-Cbn’s “It’s Showtime.” The three others may have gone ahead of you with their respective prizes, but everyone—even the judges—would’veagreed in unison that you’re the best one with such star quality, such charm, and such talent. The grand winner was a good choice, period. But with all of the above, plus your good looks and passion, I won’t be surprised to see you on national television again.

Usually it’s the people who give back to their family that are more blessed to get ahead in life, because God knows that their fame and fortune will be put to good use. For all I know, you’re already getting offers to guest “ASAP Rocks” or signing a contract now with Star Magic—because you’re perfect star material. But then again, if you don’t make it at Abs-Cbn after today’s show, it means that you’re meant for bigger things, and only God knows what, where, when, and how.

Jarel, your rendition was impeccably soulful. I was teary-eyed while watching, because I’m so proud of you. That was the first time I saw Pinoy Halo-Halo, and I made sure to watch it today after knowing that you’re one of the grand finalists. We may not have seen each other in, say, ten years, but I know we’re still friends—which is why you didn’t have second thoughts accepting my friend request here on Facebook.

Again, congratulations, Jarel Korber!
